What is Usenet ?

Usenet is one of the oldest ways to transport data through the internet. You don't need to understand how it works, just how to use it.

Getting Access

To have acces to usenet you will need to have an usenet provider.
We made a list of good usenet providers, most of them offer a free trial, so you can try usenet without paying a dime !

Let's start to get acces , before we continu with this guide. here is the usenet provider list

Start Streaming

We also need a program to access usenet. We choose Bintube Client , because they offer Usenet Streaming !
Just click and watch. They even supports Bluray/HD and DVD streaming.

Get Bintube Media Player

Open Bintube media player and open the server settings (Options>>server settings..)
Enter the settings you just received from usenext.



For this guide we will stream an episode of Lost , just pick one here.
Click on any episode and then the arrow on the file that is the biggest ( 800 mb in this example).



Open with Bintube...


Wait 30 seconds for the play button to be displayed , click on it and there you go , you are watching Lost



Every file will also be downloaded to the default location My Documents\BinTube Downloads
you can change that in Options > download settings

Subtitles & Streaming

It is possible to stream releases with subtitles , but it requires some more steps.
When your movie/episode starts playing , hit the stop button and choose NO.



Go to the download folder of bintube ( default= >My Documents\BinTube Downloads)
Open the folder where lost is downloaded. Download the subtitle from subtitleseeker and save it in that folder.
Rename the subtitle file to the name of the avi file.



Open the file with vcl media player.
